Eurovision 2027 in Burgas: Dates, Tickets and Travel Guide
Eurovision 2027 is in Burgas, Bulgaria: semi-finals on 11 and 13 May, the final on 15 May at Arena Burgas. Tickets, getting there and hotels.

Eurovision 2027 will be held in Burgas, Bulgaria's port city on the Black Sea, at Arena Burgas. Semi-final 1 is on Tuesday 11 May 2027, semi-final 2 on Thursday 13 May and the Grand Final on Saturday 15 May. The EBU and Bulgarian National Television (BNT) named Burgas as host city on 13 August 2026, after Bulgaria's first ever win, in Vienna in May 2026. As of 4 October 2026, tickets are not on sale and no sale date has been announced.

This guide covers every show date, what is known about tickets and how sales worked in past years, getting to Burgas from Sofia, Varna and the airport, where to stay and what to do between shows. We run transfers and sell hotels in Burgas, so the prices below come straight from our live booking system. All prices are in euro, Bulgaria's currency since 1 January 2026.
Eurovision 2027 dates: every show in Burgas

Burgas or Sofia? How the host city was chosen
Four cities bid to host: Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas. Sofia and Burgas made the final round, and Burgas won. According to the EBU, the other three cities will be involved in the wider programme around the contest, but all the shows take place in Burgas.
Eurovision 2027 tickets: what we know now
Right now there is nothing to buy: no prices and no date. What the official Eurovision FAQ for Burgas 2027 does confirm is that anyone who wants tickets must first register as a Eurofan, the contest's official fan club, which is free. There will be several price categories, and tickets will only be sold through official EBU channels. Any site selling Burgas tickets today is selling something that does not exist yet.
When do Eurovision 2027 tickets go on sale?
No date has been announced. As a guide, this is how it worked last year. For Vienna 2026, pre-registration opened on 24 November 2025 and closed on 18 December, and the sale opened on 13 January 2026 through the host broadcaster's ticketing partner. Buyers had to register both as a Eurofan and with the ticketing site, using the same email address. The Grand Final sold out in 14 minutes, the semi-finals in 20, and all nine shows were gone within an hour. Burgas may follow a different timetable, but if it repeats the pattern, registration would open in late autumn and the sale in winter.
- Register as a Eurofan now. It is free and takes a minute.
- When the ticketing partner is announced, register there too, with the same email.
- On sale day, be online before the opening time with your card ready. Half an hour later there may be nothing left.
- Avoid resale and comparison sites. In Vienna the organisers promised further chances to buy in spring for fans who missed the first sale.
Eurovision 2027 ticket prices
There are no prices for 2027 yet. For comparison, in Vienna 2026 semi-final tickets cost between €10 and €260 and Grand Final tickets between €20 and €360, booking fees included. The range reflects the type of show as much as the seat. The cheapest is the afternoon rehearsal on the day of the broadcast, often called the family show; next comes the jury show the evening before, when the professional juries cast their votes; the live broadcast is the most expensive. The rehearsals are full run throughs, opening and interval acts included, just without the real voting.
Arena Burgas: the Eurovision 2027 venue
Arena Burgas opened in May 2023 in the Izgrev district, at 79 Stefan Stambolov Boulevard, north west of the city centre. For concerts it holds up to around 15,000 people including standing, but at Eurovision the stage, cameras and production areas take up a large part of the hall, and the final capacity will only be announced after technical planning. From our hotels by the Sea Garden it is about 4 km as the crow flies, a short taxi or city bus ride.

Burgas has its own international airport, about 10 km from the centre, with direct flights from a number of European cities, many of them seasonal: check that your route is already flying in mid May. The organisers also list the airports of Sofia, Varna and Plovdiv, and even Istanbul, as gateways to the contest.
From Sofia to Burgas
Bulgaria Air flies Sofia to Burgas three times a week from 25 October 2026, and from 2 to 19 May 2027 it plans to run up to two flights a day because of Eurovision. If you would rather go straight from your arrival to your hotel without waiting for a connection, book a private transfer from Sofia to Burgas: from €383 per car for up to 4 passengers, or €536 for a van for up to 8. The drive is about 380 km, roughly three and a half hours without stops. Split between four friends, that is under €100 each, door to door.
From Varna to Burgas
If a flight to Varna works better for you, a transfer from Varna to Burgas costs from €130 per car, about 130 km and roughly two hours on the road.
From Burgas Airport to the city
City bus line 15 runs between the airport, the Sarafovo district and the railway station in the centre; check the current timetable on the Burgasbus website. A taxi to the centre takes about 20 minutes.
Where to stay in Burgas for Eurovision 2027
Burgas and its neighbouring municipalities have more than 155,000 hotel beds, and the mayor has said that supply should keep prices from spiralling. Good hotels within walking distance of the sea and the centre are far fewer, though, and some are very small. Our advice: book a room with free cancellation now, and cancel if you do not get tickets. These are our four hotels in the city:
- Grand Hotel & SPA Primoretz: five stars in the Sea Garden, next to the beach and a short walk from the centre. Burgas's classic grand hotel, open since 1959, with a 3,000 m² spa, an indoor pool and breakfast included. On the flexible rate, stays from January to May can be cancelled free of charge up to three days before arrival, which is exactly what you want while tickets are still uncertain. The outdoor pool only opens in June.
- Hotel Residence Promenade: a five star Art Nouveau boutique hotel about 50 metres from the sea in the heart of the city, with a free minibar in every room. It has just 12 rooms, which is very few for Eurovision week.
- Villa Promenade: a restored villa from around 1900 by the sea, five adults only rooms, a sauna, a lounge with a fireplace and a kitchen. You can book the whole villa for up to 10 people, a good fit for a group of fans travelling together.
- Natura All Seasons Boutique Hotel: four stars on the seafront in quiet Sarafovo, about seven minutes from the airport, with a spa, an 18 metre indoor pool and a kids' club. It is further from the centre and the arena, about 8 km as the crow flies, but calm and handy for late arrivals.
See every option on our hotels in Burgas page. If the city fills up, the coastal towns of Pomorie and Sozopol, about 20 to 35 km away, are the natural alternative.
Burgas weather in mid May
Mid May in Burgas is pleasant: around 21°C by day and 12°C at night on average. The sea is still cool, around 16°C, so think promenade cafés rather than swimming. Bring a light jacket for the walk back from the arena at night, and an umbrella, as the month has a few rainy days.
What to do in Burgas between shows
There is a day without a live show between each of the three broadcasts, and Burgas is made for it: the seafront promenade and Sea Garden, city beaches and lakes all around. Our guide to Bulgaria's Black Sea coast covers what is worth seeing in the city and along the coast.
An easy day out: head to Nessebar, about 35 km north, with a transfer from Burgas to Nessebar, from €36 per car and about 40 minutes, and finish with a sunset cruise off Nessebar: an hour at sea past Nessebar, Sunny Beach, Pomorie and Ravda, with fishing rods on board, from €78 per person. Sailings depend on the weather, so in May check the booking box for a departure on your date.
The EBU has confirmed there will be a Eurovision Village and a EuroClub, but locations, hours and dates have not been announced yet. We will add them here when they are.
The bottom line
What is certain: Eurovision 2027 is in Burgas on 11, 13 and 15 May, at Arena Burgas. What is not: prices, the ticket sale date and the Eurovision Village location. What you can do today: register as a Eurofan, book a room with free cancellation and work out how you will get there from Sofia or Varna. If you are flying in for a whole week, our 7 day Bulgaria itinerary and our list of Bulgaria attractions help you plan the days around the shows. We will update this guide as soon as the ticket sale is announced.
