Terms and conditions
Terms of use, the booking process and the liability framework of the MakeYourTravel platform
Booking a hotel?
Hotels work differently from the other Services on the Platform. You ask for a room on WhatsApp, or send a room request on a Partner Hotel's page, and nothing is booked until you confirm our quote or the hotel confirms your request. We book through Expedia TAAP or directly with the hotel, you pay the hotel at the hotel, and each rate has its own cancellation terms. Section 23, Hotel stays, sets out how it works; sections 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 do not apply to hotels (clause 23.2).

Definitions
- Guest: a person who books a Service through the Platform, or a Hotel Booking with us.
- Host: an independent third party that provides a Service: a guide, driver, transport company, activity operator, restaurant or venue.
- Service: a single travel service listed on the Platform: an experience, guided tour, attraction or ticket, private transfer, or restaurant or venue booking.
- Booking: a confirmed reservation of a Service. Clause 23.2 says how this includes a Hotel Booking.
- Total Price: the full amount payable for a Service: the deposit you pay us and the rest you pay the Host after the Service. For a Hotel Booking, the total price of the stay in your confirmation, including any part you pay at the hotel.
- Hotel: a hotel or other accommodation shown on the Platform's hotel pages. A Hotel is not a Host.
- Hotel Booking: a stay at a Hotel that we book for you under clause 23.
What we do, and what we do not do
We operate a marketplace. We display Services offered by Hosts, take bookings, collect payment, and provide Guest support in Hebrew, English and Bulgarian.
The Host provides the Service, not us. We do not own, operate, drive, guide or staff any Service. The Host is an independent business and is responsible for actually delivering the Service, for its safety, and for holding the licences, permits and insurance its activity requires.
We are responsible for the booking. We are responsible for the parts we control: taking your booking correctly, taking and handling your money correctly, confirming with the Host, telling you the truth about what you bought, refunding you when a refund is due, and helping you when something goes wrong. Clause 13 sets out what that means in practice.
Services are listed and sold individually. We do not assemble or sell holiday packages, and we do not present combinations of Services as a single product. Our AI travel assistant only recommends Services, and each Service it suggests is booked and paid for separately (clause 24.2), and an estimated total it may show for a trip plan is information only, not a price for the plan (clause 24.6). A list of Services you save to My trip is a place to keep ideas, not a package: each Service in it is booked and paid for separately (clause 25.3). We book hotel stays separately, as clause 23 sets out. The Platform does not sell flights. Car rental is not booked on the Platform either: our car rental page sends your search to the website of Top Rent A Car, where you book under its own terms.
Where a Host imposes its own conditions on a Service (minimum age, fitness requirements, dress code), those conditions are shown on the Service page and form part of your Booking.
Your account
You can book without an account. If you create one, keep your login details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
Some sign-in links we email you work without a password. Those links are personal to you, expire, and should not be forwarded.
You must be at least 18 to make a Booking. You may book for children, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us about them.
How a Booking is made
When you submit and pay for a booking request, that is a request, not yet a confirmed Booking.
We pass the request to the Host. The Host has 24 hours to accept. For a transfer, we offer your request to the drivers who can take it, and the first to accept becomes your Host. Some Services are confirmed instantly, and their Service page says so: your Booking is then made as soon as you pay.
If the Host accepts, we confirm your Booking by email and your Booking is made. At that point a contract for the Service is formed between you and the Host, and a contract for our booking, payment and support services is formed between you and us.
If the Host does not accept within 24 hours, or declines, your Booking does not happen and we refund everything you have paid us in full, automatically. You do not need to ask. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Your Booking confirmation email is the record of what you bought. Read it and tell us straight away if anything on it is wrong.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown per guest, unless the Service page says otherwise. You can display prices in several currencies for convenience, but you are always charged in euro (EUR). The Total Price and what it includes are shown before you pay.
One way to pay. You pay 20% of the Total Price to us online when you book (the deposit), and the remaining 80% in cash directly to the Host after the Service is done:
- the amount you pay the Host and its currency are stated clearly before you pay the deposit, and again in your confirmation email
- the 80% is a payment to the Host, not to us. It never reaches us
- for a transfer, you pay the driver when you reach your destination
- a discount code lowers the deposit you pay us. It never changes what you pay the Host
- bring the exact amount. Hosts are not required to give change
- ask the Host for a receipt for the 80%. The Host issues that receipt, not us
- where a Service cannot take the 20% deposit, the part you pay us online is our commission for that Service, and the rest is paid to the Host in the same way. The booking form shows both amounts before you pay
Payment processing fee. A processing fee of 3% may be added where the law permits it. It is not charged on consumer cards issued in the European Economic Area. Where charged, it is shown separately before you pay and is not refunded if a Booking is cancelled, because the cost is incurred at the moment of payment.
Prices can change until your Booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, your Total Price does not change unless you change the Booking.
Local charges that authorities or Hosts collect on the spot (entrance levies, tourist taxes, parking, fuel, tolls) are your responsibility and are stated on the Service page where we know about them.
Changes you ask for
Ask us. Do not arrange changes with the Host directly, because we cannot guarantee a change we do not know about.
We will try to accommodate a change and will tell you honestly whether the Host can. A change may cost more or less; we will tell you the difference before anything is confirmed.
Cancelling a Booking
Each Host sets the cancellation policy for their own Service, and a Host cannot publish a Service without setting one. The policy is shown on the Service page and in your confirmation email, and those are the terms that apply to your Booking.
Transfers: fixed policy. The cancellation policy for transfers is the same across the Platform and is not set by the Host:
| Cancel this far ahead | Your deposit |
|---|---|
| 3 days or more | Free cancellation: refunded in full |
| Less than 3 days | Kept as the cancellation fee. Nothing more to pay |
You pay us only the deposit (clause 6.2), so a cancellation is settled on the deposit. Within a window where the policy gives a full refund, the deposit is returned in full, less any processing fee under clause 6.3.
Within a window where the policy gives a partial refund or no refund, the deposit is not refunded. It is kept as the cancellation fee, and you are not charged anything beyond it.
Some Services cannot be cancelled at all, such as dated tickets or special events. Where that is the case the Service page says so clearly before you pay.
No 14-day cooling-off period. Under EU consumer law, the right to withdraw within 14 days does not apply to travel, transport, car rental, catering or leisure services supplied on a specific date or for a specific period. Nearly everything on the Platform falls into that category. The cancellation terms above are what protect you instead.
Refunds are made to your original payment method within 3 to 7 business days of us confirming the cancellation. How long your bank then takes is up to your bank.
If the Host cancels, or does not turn up
This is on us to sort out, and we will.
If a Host cancels, or fails to provide the Service, or provides something materially different from what was published on the Service page, you may choose either:
- a full refund of everything you paid us, or
- a replacement Service of equivalent standard where we can arrange one, with any price difference settled either way.
What counts as "materially different". The comparison is against what the Service page and your confirmation promised, not against expectations or personal taste. For example: a different route or site than published, a materially different vehicle type, a significantly shorter duration, or a listed core component that was not delivered. We decide based on the listing, the correspondence and the documentation from both sides.
If the Host does not turn up, you have paid the Host nothing, so there is nothing to recover there. We refund your deposit in full.
If you paid the Host and the Service was not provided as booked, tell us. We will pursue it with the Host on your behalf and press for the money back. We cannot promise to recover money we never held.
Tell us as soon as you can, ideally while you are still in the destination, because that is when we can still fix it. Attach any documentation you have: photos and messages.
Force majeure and weather
Some Services depend on weather or conditions outside anyone's control. Where a Host cancels for safety reasons, clause 9 applies and you are not penalised.
Where an event outside reasonable control (war, civil unrest, natural disaster, epidemic, strike, airspace closure, government restriction) prevents a Service, we refund your deposit in full. You owe the Host nothing for a Service that did not take place.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate names, ages, contact numbers and any relevant medical or accessibility needs. Wrong details are the most common reason a Booking fails.
Be at the meeting point at the stated time. Hosts are not obliged to wait and no refund is due for a missed start.
Travel insurance. Buy comprehensive travel insurance, including medical cover, cancellation, baggage, and cover for any adventure activity you have booked. We strongly recommend it and we are not a substitute for it.
Fitness to participate. Only book an activity you are fit for. If a guide reasonably judges, on safety grounds, that continuing puts you or others at risk, they may end your participation. In that case we will look at the circumstances and refund the unused portion where it is fair to do so.
Bring the documents the Service requires: passport, driving licence, proof of age. Where a Host needs passport details in advance we will ask you for them and explain why.
Our liability
We are liable to you for failing to perform our own obligations under clause 3.3 with reasonable care and skill: taking your booking, handling your money, confirming with the Host, describing accurately what we sell, refunding you when due, and supporting you.
We are not liable for the manner in which a Host performs a Service, or for injury, death, illness, or loss or damage to property arising from a Host's Service, except where it results from our own failure under clause 12.1.
Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the Total Price of the Booking concerned, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence, and nothing prevents you from bringing a claim against a Host or a Hotel directly.
Our support commitment
This is what we actually promise, and we would rather be held to it than to a disclaimer.
- For anything about the booking, payment, changes or problems, you talk to us.
- Professional questions about the experience itself (the route, the vehicle, the equipment and everything about delivery) go to the Host directly; the professional knowledge sits with them.
- We answer in Hebrew, English and Bulgarian.
- We aim to reply within 30 minutes during support hours, and we commit to replying within one business day at the latest.
- When we do not have an answer yet, we tell you when we will.
- We do not close an issue until you tell us it is closed.
Support hours are Sunday to Friday, from 9:00 to 19:00 Bulgarian time. Outside those hours an urgent line is available around the clock: urgent requests are triaged in advance, and anything affecting a Service happening now is handled immediately.
The 30-minute figure is our internal target and the standard we hold ourselves to. The one-business-day figure is our commitment to you. We have separated the two deliberately, because a promise that only holds during office hours is not a promise.
Clause 13 does not extend our legal liability under clause 12; it describes the service standard we hold ourselves to.
Host listings and the information on the Platform
Hosts write their own descriptions and supply their own photographs, prices and availability. Transfers are the exception: we set their prices ourselves. We check what we list and we do not list Services we have not vetted. We may correct, translate or tidy a description without changing what the Service is, but we rely on Hosts to keep their own information current.
If you find something on a Service page that is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
If what you received was materially different from what the listing described (as defined in clause 9.3), clause 9.2 applies.
Reviews
Guests who completed a Booking through the Platform can review it: we send the review invitation to the email on the Booking after the Service date. Reviews of private transfers can also be sent through a review link we share with travellers after their ride. Anyone who has that link can send a review through it, so a review sent that way may come from someone we cannot match to a Booking. We publish it as written, with the name the reviewer gives, and whoever sends one agrees that we publish it with that name. Every other review published on the Platform comes from a verified Booking.
We do not edit reviews, and we do not pay for them. We remove reviews that are unlawful, abusive, contain personal data about other people, or are not about the Service.
Reviews reflect individual opinions, not ours.
How Services are ranked
Search results. When you search or open a category, we show only Services that match: the place, the category, and any language, duration or price you choose. Services in the place you searched come before trips from elsewhere that go there. The most recently listed Services come first, unless you choose another order where the page offers one.
Popular lists. Lists of popular Services, such as the rows on our home page, are ordered by a popularity score that weighs, in this order: confirmed and completed Bookings (40%), Guests' average rating (30%), the number of reviews (20%), and how recently the Service was listed (10%).
Our team's picks. Some rows, such as a city row or a seasonal collection, are chosen and ordered by our team.
No Host pays to appear on the Platform or to influence their position in the results, or in our AI travel assistant's suggestions (clause 24.4).
Reporting content, and complaints
To report a listing, review or message you believe is unlawful or breaks these Terms, email hello@makeyourtravell.com with a link and a short explanation. We will look at it, act where action is warranted, and tell you what we decided and why.
To complain about a Booking, email hello@makeyourtravell.com or message us on WhatsApp. We aim to resolve complaints within 5 to 10 business days.
Messaging between you and a Host
The Platform lets you message a Host about a Booking. Use it for that.
Do not arrange payment or a separate booking outside the Platform. If you do, none of the protections in these Terms apply to it. This does not apply to a Hotel Booking: that booking is made with us on WhatsApp under clause 23, and paying the hotel on arrival under the rate we booked is not a payment outside the Platform.
We can access messages for support, safety, fraud prevention and legal compliance. See the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The Platform, its design, code, text and our logos belong to us and may not be copied without written permission.
Host photographs and descriptions belong to the Host or its licensor.
If you post a review, photo or comment, you keep ownership and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform and in our own marketing. You can ask us to stop using it in marketing at any time.
Photos of a Hotel that come from the Hotel, its brand, group or owner, or their photographers, whether from their websites, media libraries or sent to us ("Hotel photos"), belong to the Hotel, its brand, group or owner, the photographers who took them, or whoever licensed them to the Hotel. We do not own them and claim no ownership of them. We sell the Hotel's rooms as a travel agent and we show Hotel photos only for that purpose: the photos the Hotel publishes on its own website to promote its rooms, or photos the Hotel or the rights holder has sent us or agreed in writing that we may use. On the Hotel's page the photos are credited and linked to the Hotel's website, and we take them down on request under clause 19.6.
We show Hotel photos on our live website, www.makeyourtravell.com, and in our own posts only in these places: the Hotel's page on the Platform (its gallery and room cards), the Hotel's card in our hotel listings and city lists, the preview image shown when someone shares a link to those pages (for example on WhatsApp, Facebook or X), the structured data on those pages that search engines read, and our own posts on Facebook and Instagram that promote the Hotel. Posting on Facebook and Instagram requires us to give Meta the licence its terms ask of every user: to host, copy, show and adapt the post for its services. We post a Hotel photo on Facebook or Instagram only where the Hotel or the rights holder has agreed to that in writing. We do not post Hotel photos on X or use them in paid ads. On the Hotel's page, the photos are credited and linked to the Hotel's website, and we add the photographer's name when the Hotel or the photographer asks us to under clause 19.7. Listing cards and link previews are too small for a credit line; they link to the Hotel's page, where the credit appears. We resize the photos, re-encode them for the web and keep copies on our content delivery network. A page layout may trim the edges of a photo to fit its frame, but we never remove, hide or crop out a watermark or a credit shown in the photo: if a frame would cut off a watermark or a credit, we do not use that photo. Apps and search engines may crop preview images themselves, so we never use a photo with a watermark or credit as a preview image, in search data or in our posts.
If you hold rights in a Hotel photo, or act for someone who does, you can ask us to remove it by emailing hello@makeyourtravell.com with a link to the page, the photo you mean and who you are. Within 48 hours of receiving your request, we remove the photo from our live website, www.makeyourtravell.com, clear it from that website's image cache and take it off our own social media posts, and we confirm to you by email when it is done. Copies that others made before then, such as link previews already sent or copies held by search engines, are outside our control. For Hotel photos, this clause applies instead of clause 17.1.
If you are the Hotel or the photographer and would rather we showed other photos, or credited them differently, write to the same address and we will update our pages.
Law and where disputes are heard
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The courts of Bulgaria have jurisdiction.
Clauses 20.1 and 20.2 do not affect your rights as a consumer. If you live in Israel, the European Union, or anywhere whose law gives you the right to rely on your local consumer protection rules or to bring proceedings in your own country, you keep that right in full.
Language
These Terms are published in Hebrew, English and Bulgarian.
The version that applies to your Booking is the one in the language you used when you made it.
Where the versions conflict or are ambiguous, the English version prevails. This does not reduce any right you have under the consumer law of your country of residence.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version that applies to your Booking is the one published when you made it.
We will publish material changes prominently on the Platform and state the date of the update.
Hotel stays
In short
We book, you pay the hotel
You confirm our quote, or a Partner Hotel confirms your request, and we book the room. You pay the hotel for your stay, at the hotel.
A saved card, nothing charged
We may ask you to save a card with Stripe to hold the booking. Saving it charges nothing, and we never see the card number.
Free cancellation until our date
Our deadline is earlier than the hotel's, so we can cancel in time. Cancel after ours but before the hotel's, and you still pay nothing.
Late or not coming: only the hotel's fee
If the hotel charges us, we send you its charge first. You have 3 days to question it, and we never charge more than it.
Living in Israel?
You can choose the cancellation right of Israeli law instead of the hotel's terms. Clause 23.9 explains how.
Our role. We act as your booking agent: we book your stay for you, on your instructions, through Expedia TAAP, the travel agent program of Expedia Group, or directly with a Partner Hotel (clause 23.12). We do not own or run any hotel and we do not provide the stay. Your contract for the stay is with the hotel, under its own rules (check-in and check-out times, minimum age, a card or deposit it may ask for at check-in, house rules) and the rate terms in your quote, which form part of your Hotel Booking. To book, we pass Expedia or the hotel the names, dates, number of guests, requests and contact details the booking needs; our Privacy Policy explains. Between you and us, these Terms cover our booking and support service and the amounts in clause 23.6.
Which clauses apply. Clauses 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 do not apply to Hotel Bookings: this clause 23 applies instead. In the other clauses, "Booking" includes your Hotel Booking, "Service" includes your stay, and "Total Price" means the total price of your stay in your confirmation; what they say about a Host and its Service applies in the same way to the hotel and your stay. Clauses 14 to 16, on Host listings, reviews and ranking, do not apply to hotel pages (clause 23.10). Where clause 23 and another clause differ, clause 23 applies.
Quote first, then booking. You choose dates, rooms and guests on the hotel page and send them to us on WhatsApp, or, at a Partner Hotel whose page offers it, send a room request on the page (clause 23.12). A request books nothing and commits you to nothing. We send you a quote: the room, the total price, what is included, the cancellation terms of the rate and any fee for cancelling. It is valid for the time it states, or for 24 hours if it states none, and it does not hold the room. We book only after you confirm the quote in writing; by confirming it you accept these Terms, the rate's terms and the hotel's rules we tell you about in it. We may decline to book before we send you a confirmation, and then you owe nothing. Your Hotel Booking is made when we send you a confirmation with the hotel's or Expedia's booking reference: check it at once and tell us the same day if anything in it is wrong. The person who confirms the quote is responsible for every room and guest in it.
Prices, and paying for your stay. Hotel rates change with the dates, the room and availability, so the hotel pages show no fixed prices. If the rate changes before we book, we book nothing until you confirm again. Once your Hotel Booking is confirmed, its rate applies unless you change the booking, or unless the VAT or the local tourist tax changes, or Expedia or the hotel cancels a rate published by mistake (clause 23.8). You pay the hotel for your stay, at the hotel, in euro and under its payment rules, and the hotel issues your invoice. We take no payment from you for the room and charge you no booking fee: Expedia or the hotel pays us a commission that is included in the rate. Taxes and charges the hotel collects, such as the local tourist tax or parking, are paid at the hotel unless the quote says they are included.
Cancelling or changing. Each rate has its own cancellation terms, set by the hotel and shown in your quote and confirmation; some rates cannot be cancelled free of charge. To cancel or change, write to us before the deadline: a cancellation counts from when we receive your message, and close to the deadline you should use the urgent line in clause 13.2. Our free cancellation deadline is 48 hours before the hotel's own (at a Partner Hotel, as clause 23.12 says), so that we can cancel in time. If you cancel after our deadline but the hotel still lets us cancel without a fee, you pay nothing. If you cancel directly with the hotel, tell us at once. A change of dates, room or guests is a new quote.
The card that holds your booking. We hold your Hotel Booking with our own card, so you never send card details on WhatsApp or by email. We may ask you to save a card on our secure payment page; saving it charges nothing, and the page states in one line what we may charge it for, which you tick to agree. If the hotel charges our card for something you owe it under your rate or its rules, such as a late cancellation or no show fee, nights or extras you did not pay at the hotel, or damage, you pay us exactly that amount, in euro, and never more than the terms we sent you allow. Before we charge you, we send you the hotel's charge and its reason; if you tell us within 3 days that it is wrong, we take it up with the hotel and Expedia first and charge only what stands, within 30 days. If you have already paid the hotel for it, we do not charge you again. Without a saved card, we send you an invoice to pay within 7 days. Please talk to us before disputing a charge with your bank. We remove the saved card 14 days after your check-out date, or 7 days after a cancellation with no fee. Under the Israeli law option (clause 23.9) you pay only the fee that clause states.
At the hotel. The hotel registers you as a guest under Bulgarian law, so bring a passport or ID card for every adult; it may ask for a card or a cash deposit at check-in. Its rules on age, extra guests, pets, smoking and parking apply, and it may refuse a guest who does not meet them. Tell us before you confirm if you need something the hotel must agree to, such as an early check-in or accessibility: we pass it on and the hotel decides.
If the hotel cannot host you, or you cannot travel. If the hotel or Expedia cancels your confirmed booking, or the hotel cannot give you what you booked, tell us at once: we ask for an equal room at the same hotel or nearby and pass on what they offer, and if it costs more, you decide before we book it. If you cannot travel because of illness, a cancelled flight, war or another event outside your control, your rate's cancellation terms still apply, because the hotel keeps the room for you; we ask the hotel to waive or reduce its fee as a goodwill gesture and pass on what it agrees. We recommend travel insurance and a refundable rate when plans may change. This clause replaces clause 10 for Hotel Bookings.
If you live in Israel. Israeli consumer law lets you cancel a stay booked online or by message within 14 days of confirming it, if you cancel more than 7 business days before check-in, for a fee of 5% of the price or 100 shekels, whichever is lower. For a stay outside Israel, our quote may offer you a choice between that right and the hotel's cancellation terms for the rate, which may be priced differently, and the option you choose is written in your confirmation. If the confirmation records no choice, or the quote offered none, the Israeli law right applies in full. Under it, if you cancel within those limits, we cancel the booking, release your saved card and charge you only that fee; anything the hotel charges us for that cancellation is ours to bear. Otherwise the hotel's terms for your rate apply, as far as the law allows. If the law gives you more than this clause, the law applies.
What the hotel pages show. We write the hotel pages ourselves from what the hotel, its website and Expedia publish, and check them with care, but the hotel may change its facilities without telling us. Your quote and confirmation say what your rate includes; what the page shows beyond that is not a promise. The guest score on a hotel page is Expedia's score from the reviews of its own guests. We choose which hotels to list, and their order. If you find something wrong on a page, tell us and we correct it.
Who is responsible for what. The hotel is responsible for your stay: the room, its facilities, staff, food and service, its safety and cleanliness, and your belongings at the hotel. We are responsible for booking what you confirmed, passing on the rate's price and terms correctly and supporting you, as clauses 3.3, 12 and 13 set out; we are not liable for the stay itself unless our own failure under clause 12.1 caused the problem, and clause 12.3 limits our liability to the total price of your stay.
Partner Hotels. Some hotels have their own agreement with us; their hotel page says so (a "Partner Hotel"). We book them directly with the hotel, not through Expedia, and the hotel pays us a commission that is included in its rates. Clause 23 applies to them with these changes. Where the page offers it, instead of asking on WhatsApp you send a room request on the page: dates, rooms, the bed setup where the room offers a choice, guests and your contact details, with a card saved on our secure payment page (clause 23.6). Sending it charges nothing and books nothing. We pass it to the hotel at once and ask it to answer within 4 hours. The hotel may confirm it, offer you another room or other dates, or decline it; an alternative is booked only if you accept it. Your Hotel Booking is made when the hotel confirms it, and the hotel sends you its own confirmation, with its booking number, the price of your stay and its conditions, which form part of your Hotel Booking. If the price does not suit you, you can cancel free of charge until the deadline below. If nothing is booked, we remove the saved card. You can cancel free of charge until 16:00 Sofia time on the day before your arrival; the hotel's own deadline is 16:00 on the day of arrival. After that, or if you do not arrive, the hotel's fee is at most the first night, and clause 23.6 applies to it.
Our AI travel assistant
In short
You are talking to an AI
The assistant is an artificial intelligence system, not a person. Our team is on WhatsApp whenever you want a person.
It recommends, it does not book
It suggests Services and plans. You book and pay for each Service separately, on its own page, from the Host named there and at its own price.
Check the Service page
An AI answer can be wrong. What the Service page and the booking form say is what applies.
No one pays to be suggested
Its suggestions follow your question, our guides and our catalogue, never payment.
A trip total is only an estimate
An estimated total for a plan is information only, leaves hotels out and is not a price. Each Service is booked and paid for on its own.
What it is. Where the Platform offers it, our AI travel assistant, shown on the Platform as "Your personal guide", answers questions about travelling in Bulgaria and suggests Services and day by day plans. It is an artificial intelligence system: its answers are written automatically by a language model (Claude, by Anthropic), not by a person. Our team is on WhatsApp whenever you want to talk to a person. It can also plan a trip with you: it asks a few questions, such as your dates or how many days you have, who is travelling and how many adults and children (with the age of each child), the airport you land at, whether you stay in one place or move between places, and what you enjoy, and then writes a plan day by day (clause 24.6).
Recommendations, not bookings. The assistant only recommends. It does not book, reserve, confirm or charge anything, and it does not act for any Host. Each Service it suggests is booked on its own: you book it yourself on its own page, from the Host named there, at its own price and on its own terms, and you pay for it separately, on its own Booking. A plan it writes is not a package or a single product, and we do not sell it for one combined price. If you ask it to, it can save Services to My trip, which also books nothing (clause 25.7). Hotel stays are booked as clause 23 sets out.
Check before you book. AI answers can be incomplete or wrong. Before you book, check the Service page and the booking form: the price, the availability, what is included, the minimum age, the meeting point and the cancellation terms shown there are the ones that apply, and they prevail over anything the assistant wrote. Prices it mentions are for guidance only: an experience price is a starting price from our catalogue, a transfer price is a quote based on our transfer prices, and the price of a hotel stay comes only from our team or the hotel. Information it shows from Google Maps, such as ratings, opening hours and travel times, comes from Google, not from us, and can change.
How it chooses what to suggest. The assistant suggests Services from our catalogue and draws on our travel guides, on the questions our community asks, on what travellers from our community told us about their trips and on guidance from our team. What it suggests depends mainly on how well a Service fits your question (the place, your dates, who is travelling and what you enjoy) and on the preferences you saved, if you turned them on, and also on the Service's rating and price. No Host pays to be suggested, as with search results (clause 16.4).
Using it fairly. Use the assistant for travel questions. Do not enter payment details, passwords or sensitive personal information in the chat. Visitors without an account can send a limited number of messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your messages, and the conversations, preferences, trip plans and lists you choose to save.
Planning a trip, saving it and sharing it. With a plan, the assistant shows the ideas for your trip day by day, with cards for the Services it suggests. Where it can, it adds up the prices of those Services (as clause 24.3 describes them) for the number of travellers you gave, as an estimated total for the trip. That total is information only: it is not a price, an offer or a combined product, it does not include hotel stays, and it can change. Each Service is still booked and paid for separately, on its own page, at the price in its booking form (clauses 24.2 and 24.3). A link from the plan to a Service opens its booking form with the day and the number of travellers from the plan already filled in: check them before you pay. With the "Save trip" button you can save the experiences in the plan, each with its day and number of travellers, to My trip (clause 25), and this books nothing. You can share a conversation, which shares only its title and a link to our assistant, or the plan of a saved trip, which shares its name, dates, number of travellers and links to its Services, by message or by copying it. The people you send it to cannot open your conversation or your list. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your answers to the planner.
Saved lists
In short
A list keeps ideas, nothing more
Saving to a list books, reserves and charges nothing, and holds no price or availability.
Each Service is booked on its own
From a list you book and pay for each Service separately, from its own Host, at its own price and on its own terms. A list is not a package and has no combined price.
The booking form decides
A price in a list is only a guide. The price and availability in the booking form are the ones that apply.
The assistant saves only when you ask
Our AI travel assistant creates or changes a list only when you clearly ask it to.
Your lists are not shared
Hosts and other users do not see your lists. A list made without an account lasts up to 30 days, in the browser where you made it.
What a list is. Where the Platform offers it, you can keep Services you are thinking about in a list: with the heart on a Service's card or page ("Save to My trip"), which saves the Service without any choices; by saving a trip plan from our AI travel assistant (clause 24.6); or by asking the assistant (clause 25.7). What you save appears in My trip, under "Saved for later", where you can book each Service or remove it. A list is a place to keep ideas for your trip, and nothing more. Lists may be unavailable at times; you can always book a Service directly on its page.
Saving books nothing. Saving a Service to a list does not book, reserve, confirm or charge anything, and it does not hold a price or availability for you. Nothing is sent to the Host. We do not keep a Service available for your list: until you book it, its price or terms may change, it may sell out, and it may stop being offered.
Each Service is booked on its own. A list is not a package or a single product. It has no combined price, and we do not sell a list or its contents as one. Each Service in a list is booked on its own: you open it from the list, check the choices in its own booking form, and book and pay for it separately, as its own Booking, from its own Host, at its own price and on its own terms. These Terms apply to that Booking as to any other. Booking one Service in a list does not commit you to book another, and if one Booking is declined, cancelled or changed, your other Bookings are not affected.
What a list can hold. A list can hold the Services you book on the Platform with a booking form, such as experiences, tours, attractions, seats on a group tour and private transfers, each with the choices you saved for it: for example the date, the time and the number of travellers and, for a transfer, the route, the vehicle and the pickup details. A hotel from our hotel pages, car rental and flights can be kept in a list only as a link, for planning: they cannot be booked or paid for from a list, and keeping one there sends no request to us or to anyone else. You book a hotel stay as clause 23 sets out, and the Platform does not sell flights (clause 3.4).
Prices in a list. A list may show a price next to a saved Service: a starting price from our catalogue, or a price worked out for the choices you saved, at the moment you open the list. That price is a guide only: it is not an offer, it guarantees nothing, and it can change. The price, availability and terms shown in the booking form when you book are the ones that apply (clause 6), and they prevail over anything a list shows. A list shows no total for the Services in it.
Booking from a list. Once you start booking a Service from a list, the list keeps the choices you are booking, and you cannot change that Service in the list or remove it, unless you cancel an unpaid booking as described below. The list shows the status of that booking: for example that your payment was received and the Host's confirmation is awaited, or that the Booking was confirmed, cancelled or refunded. That status is shown for your convenience: your Booking confirmation email is the record of what you bought (clause 5.5). If you start booking a Service and do not finish paying, you can resume the payment from the list, or cancel the unpaid booking there, with no charge. A list that holds a trip shows how many of its experiences are booked, and after each Booking the confirmation page can offer the next experience in the list. If you book without an account, the booking form of the next experience may already hold the contact details you gave for your last booking from that list: check them, and change them if needed. Each time, you choose whether to go on to the next Service, skip it or return to the list; nothing moves on, books or charges by itself.
Our AI travel assistant and your lists. Our AI travel assistant (clause 24) can read your lists to answer you. It may create a list, save a Service to one or change one only when you clearly ask it to, and never just because it recommended something. It cannot book, reserve, start a payment or charge anything from a list. If it saves or changes something you did not ask for, you can change it back or remove what it saved in My trip. Check what it saved before you book: the booking form prevails over anything the assistant wrote (clause 24.3).
Who sees your lists, and how long they are kept. We do not show your lists to Hosts or to other users, and a list opens only in the account, or the browser, that made it: lists cannot be shared. You can share the plan of a trip as text (clause 24.6): it holds the name of the trip, its dates, the number of travellers and links to its Services, but no prices, no link to your list and none of your contact details. A Host receives only the Booking you make with it. A list you make without an account (a guest list) is linked to the browser where you made it, for your visitor session: that session ends 30 days after it starts and is not extended when you open or change the list, and the list is then deleted. If you sign in before then, your lists move to your account. Lists in your account do not expire: they are kept until you ask us to delete them or your account is deleted. Archiving a list moves it out of your active lists but does not delete it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle what is saved in your lists.
