How to get from Sofia Airport to the city centre
You have landed in Sofia. You walk out of the terminal, and two or three drivers offering a ride approach you straight away. This is the point where many travellers pay three times the price without knowing it.
The drive from the airport to the centre of Sofia is about 10 km, roughly 25 minutes when the road is clear. A licensed taxi with the meter running costs about 10 to 15 euros.
