Pulse Therme Bansko: Adults Only Spa, Prices and Tickets

Pulse Therme Bansko is an adults only spa (18+) inside the Grand Hotel Bansko, at 5 Glazne Street in the centre of town. It has heated indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, steam rooms, a salt room and fireside relaxation areas, and it is open every day from 09:00 to 22:00. On MakeYourTravel, Pulse Therme Bansko tickets cost €45 for 4 hours and €55 for a full day, the same price every day of the week. Don't mix it up with its bigger sister: Pulse Therme Banya, in the village of Banya just outside Bansko, runs on natural mineral water and admits guests from 14. The comparison table below helps you choose.

All prices are in euro, which Bulgaria adopted on 1 January 2026. Our prices were read from the booking system on 4 November 2026, and the price shown when you book is the one that counts. Spa facts were checked on Pulse Therme's official website the same week.

What's inside Pulse Therme Bansko

This is a compact, quiet spa that opened recently inside the hotel and is open to day visitors as well as hotel guests. It has several indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pools are kept at around 37 to 38°C and the outdoor ones at about 38°C, all year round, with the Pirin mountains as a backdrop. The highlights:

  • Aquatonic pool: massaging water jets, exactly what your legs want after a day on the slopes.
  • Japanese pool and glass pool: a Japanese pool indoors, and outside a glass walled pool looking out to the mountains.
  • Saunas and steam rooms: a classic sauna, an infrared sauna and a steam room with an ice plunge pool.
  • Salt room and alpine lounge: a relaxation area with a fireplace, for when you mainly want to rest.
  • Massages: therapists from Marina Spa work on site. Treatments are not part of the ticket and are booked directly with the spa.

There is also a gym, plus restaurants, bars and a café. If you want Pulse's big mineral water complex, that is Banya.

In short: staying in Bansko and want a quiet, grown up evening after skiing without getting in a car? Go for Bansko. Want mineral water, lots of pools and a whole day out, or travelling with a teenager of 14 or over? Book Pulse Therme Banya tickets instead. Banya's house rules, the declaration and what to bring are all in our guide to a Bansko spa day from Sofia, which also covers our day trip from Sofia to Bansko old town and the Banya spa.

How booking works on MakeYourTravel

  1. Pick a date and a ticket: 4 hours or a full day, at least 48 hours ahead.
  2. Send a request: the spa confirms within 24 hours.
  3. Pay 20% online: the rest is paid at the spa at the end of your visit.
  4. Cancellation: free up to 24 hours before your visit.

Getting to Pulse Therme Bansko

If you are already in Bansko, walk or take a short taxi ride to Glazne Street. From Sofia Airport it is about 178 km, and a private transfer from Sofia Airport to Bansko costs from €139 per car for up to 4 passengers, taking around two hours. In winter the road crosses the Predel pass; tyres and snow are covered in our Bansko winter guide.

A tip most sites miss: the Grand Hotel Bansko is one of the three stops of Pulse's free shuttle to Banya. According to the timetable on their website, it leaves the hotel at 09:30, 11:30, 14:10, 16:10, 17:10 and 18:10, and returns to Bansko at 12:15, 13:30, 17:30, 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00. That makes it easy to try both spas in the same week without a car. The timetable was published in March 2026, so check it before you rely on it. Looking for somewhere to stay?
