Cookie settings

Which cookies we use, why we use them, and how to change your settings at any time

In short

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them so the site works at all — to keep you signed in, to stop your booking disappearing halfway through, and to remember the language and currency you picked. Beyond that, some cookies help us understand how the site is used and show relevant advertising, and those run only if you agreed to them. You can change your mind at any time from "Cookie settings" on the site.

01

What cookies are and why they exist

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Next time you visit, the site reads that file and "remembers" things — that you are signed in, for example, or that you chose Hebrew.

Some of what we store actually lives in your browser's Local Storage rather than in a classic cookie. For your privacy it makes no difference, so this document treats both technologies together.

This document expands on the cookies section of our privacy policy. If the two ever conflict, the privacy policy takes precedence.

04

Essential cookies — the full list

These always run, because without them the site simply does not work. They are never used for advertising and are never sold.

Termly stores the preference in your browser and processes a consent record so the preference center can operate. If you clear your browser data, we will ask you again.

05

Analytics and measurement

If you accepted analytics, we use the following tools to understand what works on the site and what does not:

  • Google Analytics 4 — how many people visited, which pages they viewed, where they came from.
  • Contentsquare — analyses how people scroll and click, including session recording.

Measurement scripts load only after Termly confirms consent for the analytics category.

06

Marketing and advertising

If you accepted the advertising category, we use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure which ads led to bookings and to show you more relevant advertising. The Skyscanner and TopRentACar partner widgets also load only after you accept this category.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to advertisers unconnected to us.

07

Third-party services

Some services we rely on set their own cookies, including ones unrelated to advertising:

  • Stripe — processes payments and detects fraudulent transactions. Required to complete a paid booking.
  • Google Sign-In — provides the option to sign in with Google when you choose to use it.
  • Intercom — the chat you use to talk to us. Keeps your conversation history and loads only after performance consent.
  • Google Maps — displays maps on service pages and loads only after performance consent.
  • Termly — provides the consent banner, cookie scan and preference center.

Each of these has its own privacy policy, and we do not control the cookies it sets.

08

How to change or withdraw consent

The decision stays yours, always, including after you have already accepted.

On the site

Click "Cookie settings" on the site to open Termly's preference center and change each category separately.

In your browser

You can block or delete cookies directly in your browser settings. Blocking everything may break the booking flow.

Change your mind

Withdrawing consent stops new collection going forward. It does not erase what was already collected.

Delete data

To delete data already collected, write to us and we will handle it.

09
