From Sofia: The Road to Rila Rock - A Day of Nature, views, and Hot Springs

Our day is entirely dedicated to reaching one of the most special spots in the region – the Rila Rock complex. We depart from Sofia at 9:00 AM and begin our journey south through the Vitosha Mountain range. Our first stop will be at the "Golden Bridge" , where we will witness the famous stone river and walk across amazing bridge overlooking the mountain's wild nature. To make the drive a complete experience, we will also stop at impressive viewpoints and enjoy a view of the capital. Along the way, we will visit a local bakery to taste the best Banitsa in the city, a traditional Bulgarian pastry served hot and fresh. We will continue the drive through green landscapes, pausing for relaxed photos by the lake. The highlight of the day arrives with our reach at the Rila Rock complex. Here, you can enjoy quality time in hot mineral pools under the open sky—an experience that combines health and total relaxation in front of the Rila Mountain views.
